    Bad value for money due to poor quality inspite of an attentive service response

    The property and location were spectacular. The hot tub was good enough, it could do with a service though as the settings were odd. As you enter the house the Wow factor is impressive.

    There were a few issues…the beds were not great. The mattress on the master bed was terrible! It was painfully lumpy and the staff were unfortunately unable to resolve during our stay. I must add that they did try to fix it. There is one more issue. The wifi was incredibly weak and so bad that it wasn’t accessible from the master bedroom and on the last night we couldn’t even manage to watch an entire show on the tv in the family room where the wifi router was housed. It was really bad. The overall impact was that it wasn’t the restful stay we expected. The appearance matched the price of the accommodation but the quality of the experience was so far off what it should have been - loose architraves, drinks fridge missing a leg, fire surround needed reattaching, sofa had a massive dip in the middle, mattresses were diabolical , wifi required a reset every 60-90 mins At £300+ a night feels like we massively over paid

    Not the best stay

    Lodge / caravan very clean. Well located just outside st andrews. Comfy sofa. Sauna area lovely.

    Main bed extremely uncomfortable. Fridge not working. Shower areas v compact Hot tub lid blew down while I was in hot tub ! Tv / wi fi not reliable.

    A good stay all round

    Liked the space in the caravan the cleanliness and everything we needed for a lovely time.

    Bed comfort could be improved. A new mattress needed we think as it feels like it needs replacing quite springy feeling when you lie on it.
