    Hallstatt is a World Heritage "must see" destination and the village can be overwhelmed by day-tripping tourists. But if you stay at Josef's beautiful, spacious accommodation right on the lake you would never know it. You are in your own peaceful sanctuary, far from the madding crowd, with a private garden and gorgeous lake views. Josef is one of the kindest, most gracious and helpful hosts we have ever had. Having your own private parking spot right outside the door is fantastic. As another reviewer commented, if Josef's place is available for the dates you want to visit - don't think twice - book it!

    A destination within a destination

    This is the perfect place to unwind completely! It is right by the lake, steps to bus station yet quiet and peaceful, beautiful walks both sides, attractions, eateries and supermarket within easy reach. It is mystically beautiful early morning by the lake. Photos cannot always capture the moments. It is only by being present there do you feel the real magic of this place. It is a destination within a destination for me. Josef is a very friendly and excellent host. The apartment is well equipped with high quality furnishings, supplies and thoughtful details which made the stay very comfortable. There are only a handful of accommodations that left an impression on me and this is one of them. Well worth the splurge!

    Awesome family trip 💖

    Feel so homely with an super awesome owner. Joseph has been very helpful and kind throughout our 3 nights stay. Well equipped apartment with a marvellous view💖we truly enjoyed it. Location was strategic to Bus station and sky walk station
