    The loft has been exceptionally renovated and decorated. It is quite beautiful with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. There is air con, heating, a washing machine and dryer. A really nice spacious shower and kitchen and we loved staying here. It is about 10min walk maybe a bit less into the historic centre and waterfront and it is a very easy walk. We would have given the accommodation a 10 rating except for the fact there is no on-site parking or allocated parking set aside for you. I only book hotels or accommodation that provide guaranteed on site parking or off street parking in a carport or garage, so this was disappointing. When we arrived there was no free on site parking and no parking out the front on the street, so we had to drive around several blocks until we found one carspot around the corner and down the street. We asked the owners son, where was the on site parking and he pointed to the street and said here and indicated wherever you could find a free spot and insisted there would be plenty of spots later in the day. There was no other spots and we checked several times throughout our stay. On booking.com it states there is free on site parking in the description and reservation is not needed. This is incorrect and if we had not got the last carspot around the corner, would have been very unhappy and would not have stayed, which is a shame because the accommodation is truly lovely.

    As mentioned there is no on-site parking. To rectify this the description on booking.com should be changed to street parking only. Or the hosts might be able to pay for a reserved spot for the paying guest?
