Due to the time of year October has the nights draw in a few lights around the kitchen area would help but apart from that it was excellent

Overall, it was a nice stay. Would we return, I don’t think so.

I loved how cosy & peaceful it was. Internet was great & our fire stick worked in the living room TV. Had no issues with finding the accommodation or entry through the gates.

I thought it would have been a nice touch for the owners to greet us on arrival. I agree with a previous review, the bedding had a musty smell. A lamp in the living room didn’t work but there was 2 so didn’t really matter. However, it was mentioned in a previous review so if it was my place I would have fixed it or removed it. The kettle needs replacing, it looked like it had seen better days. The shower served its purpose but the pressure was a little weak. I also think it is too close to the main house. I feel the cabin could do with a little TLC. A welcome pack would be a nice touch, it’s the little things.

We arrived later than planned, I was a little confused with the opening of gates but James sorted this. The cabin was lovely, very cosy and clean. With WiFi so this was good too. The furnishings were lovely and matched the log cabin throughout. Towels were provided, tea towel and cloths, washing up liquid and toilet roll this was a nice touch. The fridge and microwave were immaculate. The cabin was very clean. It was a little way from the area we were visiting so we did drive everywhere. Its a lovely cabin. I would recommend a stay over. The heater in the living room was brill. Plugged in and worked straight away. Overall lovely, cosy and clean.

The bed was uncomfortable, it was a small bed, We couldn't tune our fire stick in due to a old tv not a smart one so wouldn't work with the HDMI port. The heater in the bedroom didnt get very warm. The cooker top stove was ok not easy to use and time consuming waiting for it to work as i had no idea how to work it. I used a pan to boil the water to make a coffee, took a while as the kettle needed descaling so decided against using this. A welcome pack would be a nice gesture with information on getting out and about and a introduction to the owners of the house and grounds. Some nice smells maybe a plug in or air freshners as it did smell musty in the bedroom. But it is a shed i guess thats what comes in this accommodation. It was noisy with the main road at night and early morning cars coming in. No information about bus times or information on where we caught this or where we could go. Seemed a little strange sleeping in someone's front garden. Did see a lady walk past on the patio but didnt come over. Didn't seem to be a friendly greeting or she didnt want to impose. However we were left alone and I guess thats what others want. It would of been nice to be greeted by the occupiers of the cabin but thats just me really being friendly. A few upgrades on the bedding, pillows and duvet. The lamp in the living room didnt come on, I tried to switch it on but didnt work. Maybe it was me.
