Location for being without a car and seeing sights is extremely good. Had an issue with our coffee maker and it was replaced quickly and efficiently

    Great Stay in Fabulous Location

Great location and very clean room. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower that was great. Overall we were pleased with the accommodations.

Construction work being completed to the outside of the hotel could be noisy in the mornings and the overall costs to stay as the room we had was a basic hotel room with two queen beds…nothing about the room would indicate we were in an historical building. Also, no hand shower in the bathroom - just a rain shower head.

    Superb, surpassing all expectations.

We were stranded in Ottawa while my husband was in hospital. The staff at Lord Elgin helped in every way imaginable.
