Quirky interesting place to stay. Ash was happy to give information and assistance

Quite a long walk to find food on a Sunday evening.

Had a lovely 1 night stay. The staff, view, food, facilities, comfortable bed too and the historical interest of the building and decor were brilliant and would definitely recommend. As a charity I hope that they can raise the funds needed for a full refurbishment, although this did not deter from the overall experience

Apologies - but Disappointed with no sleep and a hungry tummy the next day.

The property is so quirky and full of so much history

Room 5 - The beds were so uncomfortable and squeaked with every move. The curtains didn’t close properly. And then whilst having a shower in the morning the whole bathroom flooded, luckily my family member was staying in the next room so I was able to rinse the shampoo off my hair. Breakfast wasn’t what we expected. Choice of eggs, nothing else cooked. Few cereals and pastries which had seen better days. Toast and pre packed croissants - gluten free. Was hoping for a try up with the price paid. I don’t like writing reviews like this but it’s such a shame as the b&b is such a nice establishment with so much history.
