    Great stop on the Great Ocean Road - Oz tour 2026

    Just about everything, the location, the ambience and character of the property. The host Roger was charming and very welcoming. Would have happily stayed longer, if time had permitted. Portland is a lovely little spot on the Ocean Road between Adelaide and Melbourne and well worth a few days stay. The historic tram is a fun ride, the beaches look good and the surrounding area has much to offer. There are several good cafes and restaurants within walking distance, Roger will happily advise.

    Not getting to see the seals, and missing out on some walking opportunities. Did however see a Koala in a tree by the harbour and a couple of kangaroo on our walk to try and see the seals.

    Step back into 1914 with mod cons and comfortable surrounds

    Owner and property chief cook and caretaker, Roger provided a warm friendly welcome. He was able to provide information on the Portland area and good advice on the best places to visit and eat dinners. The home was built in 1914 and is in excellent condition, retaining features of the period and the convenience of modern technology including aircon and central heating, The home is well located, within walking distance of the main shopping precinct and historic buildings

    Viel zu schade für einen Zwischenstopp.

    Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Das historische Haus hat einen außergewöhnlichen Charme. Das Zimmer war groß und hatte ein großzügiges Bad. Das Haus liegt zentral, aber in ruhiger Lage.
