Location Location. Hidden amid the lotus gardens but walking distance to the GAO garden and the spectacular light show WestLake Imoressions. This is a gem if you like getting away from the big box IS style hotels. Truly a local experience. Like a cabin in the woods with a restaurant in The middle. Walking distance through spectacular grounds to many things.

Staying amidst a serene & beautiful bamboo forest
I stayed at the Lotus Glade for 4 nights in May 2018. My flight arrived around mid-night and it was hard for the taxi driver to locate the hotel as it was off the beaten track. Fortunately I was able to call the hotel receptionist which is open 24/7 to get the direction. When I woke up the next morning, I woke up to being surrounded in a serene and beautiful bamboo forest. The individual bungalows were modern and had a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, working heater with good water pressure. The wifi was good. Despite being off the beaten track, it was still easy to get taxis to get around. The highlight is the hotel grounds. If you enjoy being surrounded by lush vegetation, right on West Lake, this is a place to be.
