    Family retreat

    Idyllic location, very quiet. Lovely & clean. Really spacious lodge. Ideal for us as a family retreat. The bar & restaurant is a short walk, great selection of drinks there & food was really good too. Overall very impressed with the lodge, just the break we needed.

    The sofa bed isn’t very comfortable due to dip in the centre, daughter eventually had to sleep on the other sofa. The lodge Could do with more cutlery & glasses but that’s minor. The situe of the sofa bed means you need to be vary when walking barefoot. I badly hurt my foot when making the bed due to not seeing the granite hearth as it was concealed by the bed frame. I’ve pointed this out as I believe the sharp granite edges could benefit with plastic edge covers.

    Comfortable. Very nice area

    Arrival time from 16.00 pm. Check out time 10.00 am. What is that??? I booked for two days but it is really one and half days...

    Shame the hottub wasnt working right only had 1 hiur of use and was foamy and bubbly

    The peace and quiet nice location

    Outside mat on the Patio area Wet and covered in moss, not ideal when moving from the hot tub to inside the lodge...
