    Disappointed but loved the Dandenongs as always

    Location

    Photos looked a lot bigger was tiny. No lounge or chairs just cramped table and 2 chairs. Unclean fry pans. No clothes hanging space. Slippery back deck. No spatula for cooking breakfast .. who would think you would have to bring that ?

    We enjoyed our stay despite the setbacks

    Didn't have breakfast. No bickies. The quietness was wonderful.

    The bed was too high for the elderly. There was a trip hazard at the front door because of a curled up mat. The steps coming away from the front door were not regulation height.

    Generally a lovely stay in a lovely place.

    Lovely quiet and comfortable room with all the basics. Easy to check in and out. Property owners quick to respond via text to our questions before and during stay. They provided a complimentary bottle of chardonnay for our anniversary which was nice.

    There was some confusion as to the cabin which we booked. We wanted the one with the fireplace (which was more expensive) so booked this thru booking.com. I also confirmed this via text with owner after booking. However our confirmation email 24 hours before had the different cabin (cheaper room). We had already bought firewood in preparation for this and it did initially sour the weekend for us.
