I was charged for parking . Not cool considering it was outside parking , there was no security booth or armed area . Not to mention it wasn’t noted on booking.com about this .

Terrible experience
I stayed at the Marriott Louisville East for two nights on August 18th and 19th. While the first night was fine, the second night was extremely disappointing and unacceptable for a Marriott property. When I returned to my room (313) around 6:30 p.m. on the second night, the entire room smelled strongly of raw sewage. I immediately requested a room change and was moved to room 717. Unfortunately, that room also had serious issues: there were visible blood stains on the sheets, and the air conditioning barely worked. The room never got cold, even after hours of running the unit. Housekeeping did bring new sheets, but the overall condition of the room was far below Marriott standards. The next morning, I informed the front desk associate of everything that had happened. She told me she would speak with the manager and let me know what could be done. I never received a call back. I called Friday, Saturday, and today leaving multiple messages for the manager, Maritza, and never received a response. I finally reached her today, and while she apologized, she stated that nothing could be done because I was part of a conference group rate. She offered 10,000 reward points, but only 3,000 points were actually added to my account. As someone who works in customer service, I can confidently say this situation was handled very poorly. The lack of follow‑up, the condition of the rooms, and the dismissive resolution do not reflect the level of service Marriott claims to provide. I will be returning to the area in December for another conference, but I will not be staying at this hotel—or any Marriott property—based on this experience. The hotel is in desperate need of updates, especially the rooms, and management should take these concerns seriously.

Great choice when in Louisville
Best choice in Louisville away from downtown.
