    The apartment was uninhabitable and we were unable to stay.

    Nothing - the owner cancelled our stay AFTER we had arrived so we didn't get to stay.

    We let ourselves in and found that there were workmen on the balcony of the apartment and others on scaffolding. They were removing the building cladding with power hammer drills. The noise was really painful, and the place was uninhabitable. The owner simply cancelled our booking when we reported the problem and did nothing to help find alternative accommodation.

    The right quality for the price - we intend to return

    When we had a problem the owner reacted immediately and satisfactorily. The location was excellent with small, high quality shops and bakeries as well as excellent supermarkets. The take-away shop next door was very good and inexpensive. The beach was about 10 minutes walk, as was the centre of town. Parking was always easy - never more than 200m away.

    The kitchen equipment could have been better - the owner did replace the frying pan at our request. We added a couple of mugs to the inventory and the owner added a very nice chopping board so this is already improving!
