We liked the fact that was this is a place with a real attitude: the walls left bare at places, the creaking doors, the carved cabinets were all in perfect tune with the atmosphere of Penryn.
The lack of warm water (and heating) in the beginning could have been prevented by a last-minute check before our check-in. But the way the issue was handled was appreciated.

Lovely place, close to amenities. Host was very friendly and helpful.
It was quaint and spacious
It smelled musty, but that soon went with a bit of airing. Unfortunately the boiler was broken so no hot water. But the host offered us use of their showers.

Sentral og koselig base for Cornwall-ferie.
Perfekt for oss 6 på tur. Tre dobbeltsenger og én enkeltseng. God sentral beliggenhet, gode senger, godt utstyrt kjøkken, flott oppusset bad. Godt spisebord til frokostene våre, god sofa til avslapping, rolig hage og enkelt å parkere - enten ved hytta eller på offentlig parkering. Vi brukte både vaskemaskin og oppvaskmaskin, god klestørk både inne og ute denne sommeren.
Når vi besøkte var det et par ting som var negative, men de er utenfor huseiers kontroll: Mye måkeskrik og høy temperatur. Sånn er det jo om sommeren... Vi kunne med fordel hatt én til vifte tilgjengelig, dørstoppere til dørene, og noen knagger på veggene på soverommene, men ellers var dette en enestående sted å bo.
