  A pleasant location with friendly owner.

  It was clean and had all the facilities we needed.

  We had trouble getting the heating on.

  Fantastic area, well maintained and placed in a more secluded area of the house and its grounds. Views onto the landscape with sheep in the field and possibility of sightings of other animals, e.g., deer, quails, hares. Very modern in all areas and very clean, also use of modernised technology such as being able to login to own apps on tvs such as Netflix. So close to Scarborough without all the hustle and bustle of trying to get around, fantastic to get to in the car. Host is brilliant, responding to any queries quickly and very friendly. We were actually here for the partial solar eclipse so having that bit of garden area to sit and watch was also a bonus.

  A little bit snug with three people in a couple of areas such as the kitchen walkway and the bathroom. Unfortunately, wasps were active on one part of the lodge which was no fault of the owner as they had taken steps to eradicate the wasps but it meant we couldn't open all the windows and with it being the hottest time of the year was not ideal.

  Excellent quiet rural location. Spotless clean and comfortable.

  Peaceful rural location, cleanliness

  Small bathroom. Small bedroom. A small want that really didn’t spoil our stay. Used spare room as storage. Might be a bit tight if you had kids with you.

  Great hosts who cared about their visitors staying in their lovely Lodge.

  A lovely property, located in a quiet location, with great facilities. Everything you could need in the kitchen and a great shower. Lovely and clean. Great hosts who were happy to help with anything you needed. Beds very comfortable. Good parking. Good tv in the lounge area and also in each of the bedrooms!

  The down side of this property is that it is a bit tight to move around in the bedroom and bathroom if you are a larger person. You need to move slowly. Also, the steps down to the Lodge and into the building. Not a lot, but difficult for 2 elderly people. I didn't ask about this because I assumed when the advert said, all on one level, that you could walk straight in. My mistake. We coped.
