I had a lovely five-night stay at *Among the Trees* — a name that describes the place perfectly. Tucked away from the busy central town, it offers a wonderful sense of privacy, seclusion and peace. Waking up to the sound of birdsong and enjoying the lovely terrace, surrounded by trees, was a real pleasure. The accommodation was clean, bright and filled with sunshine. The bed was excellent, with comfortable linens that made for a good night's sleep, and all the basic necessities were thoughtfully provided. A special mention must go to the host, whose approach struck exactly the right balance: respectful of my privacy and never intrusive, yet thoughtful enough to check in by email to make sure I was comfortable. Communication was consistently clear, friendly and prompt. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, where you can relax and enjoy a little quiet, I can thoroughly recommend *Among the Trees*. I'd happily stay here again.

    Comfortable and convenient

Bedding was super comfortable and the room had everything we needed (enough towels, fridge, basic kitchen stuff and tea and coffee). Host was super lovely. Location was convenient and a short drive into Stellenbosch centre
