    The Thrill of Staying in a Genuine Casle

    The staff were superb, the room was large and comfortably furnished. The bed was super comfortable. A lovely tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. Great atmosphere in this super castle.

    We were ok, but if you had mobility issues you would need to ask about accessibility. Most of the bedrooms in the main building are accessed by a stone spiral staircase. There are rooms across the courtyard though that would be more accessible.

    A very comfortable stay in an iconic venue.

    A very comfortable hotel set in a genuine castle with excellent friendly and professional staff

    The only small gripe I would have is that the little luxuries one would expect in a 4* hotel such as a range of toiletries and bathrobes were lacking. That said the rooms were beautifully furnished and very comfortable.
