    part from the house's location and its historic character, everything else was bad. The beds were old and dirty, and the house hadn't been cleaned properly. The chairs and sofas were very dirty, and the kitchenware was inadequate. The toaster was broken, and there wasn't enough lighting in the kitchen. When we contacted the person in charge about these issues, they were slow to respond or didn't reply at all. In short, we had a bad stay.
