Excellent location but luxury it is not-needs lots of upgrading
Location and towels
Very poor like a student accommodation. Heating was faulty but repaired next morning. Very poor hygiene and maintenance of property. Carbon monoxide monitor wasn’t working and out of date years ago! Settees and carpets badly stained, shower not draining away and filthy dirty around pedestal and shower. Wallpaper peeling off bedroom wall. Feels unsafe with all the windows locked up and bars on them what happens if you have a fire?

It was a fine space if you know what to expect. Location is very good - convenient
The apartment is very large with a great bed and living arrangement area. Same with the kitchen. Ample space and supplies. Proprietor was very generous with checkout as I had issues.
It's a BASEMENT FLAT! They don't tell you this explicitly - BELOW street level. Windows are caged. In the heat of Summer it was manageable to sleep/live with the windows open and fans placed in front but as it's a basement you can imagine the dirt/soot that must have been coming in. Also there is something in the bathroom entrance walls that makes that small space exceptionally hot.The sofas/chair feel dirty so wasn't really looking forward to sitting on them. Also full wall to wall carpet that needs a thorough cleaning. Also the use of skeleton keys - and in a completely caged basement - doesn't feel safe for an emergency situation.

Always a delightful stay in a great location!
Have stayed at this property several times now. Location is central and easy for location/supermarkets, etc. Though I have noticed that the other tenants of the building have gotten noisier over the years.
The shower water pressure and temperature is a challenge, had occasions where only a trickle ran out, whereas other times had no problem with water pressure or temperature. Inconsistent. But in comparison to the positives of the property, am happy to overlook this.
