    Room was neat but the management company is horrible. Never staying with there again not in any of their rooms unless th

    At first glance the room looked neat and clean

    The management who runs that room in particular. The staff at the hotel were very nice and friendly. However once we left the property, we took pictures of how we picked up all of our trash , and left the towels on one spot to make the cleaning process easier for the cleaning people. We sent the pictures to the number in the booking (host) . However he is trying to take advantage of us by claiming that there was a stain in the carpet which it was not is because at no moment did we spill anything on the carpet. My wife used self tanning lotion so it did stain the towels (which can be washed away) and in the restroom curtain which also can be washed away. We admitted to that but it’s part of basic cleaning after the room is used. However he is trying to say they might have to replace the carpet and charge us for kit over a stain we did not do. And then he says there were “scratches on the wall” which we didn’t do and didn’t see either. We are not cats why would we scratch a wall. Neither of those two statements make any sense. We have stayed in Oahu before, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, at the Ilikai hotel as well and we have never had any issues and as far as carpets go both hotels have had stains before we used the room, it’s part of normal use , however at this room and a everywhere we have stayed we have never spilled anything that would cause stains. The management company is trying to take advantage and charge for things that were already there. Had we known we would’ve taken videos of every little corner but we have never encountered someone like him in our past.

    Close to the convention center, connected to the Ala Moana Center, nice pool, close to the beach.

    It's not obvious in the listing that this is a 3rd party room. We were told at check in we couldn't ask the hotel for room service and the concierge had to give us a phone number to text or call to get anything. The host would answer right away though!
