    Construction Tarps Covering The Windows

    Location

    The entire building, including all of the windows were covered in tarps. There was scaffolding all around the outside of the building on every floor. There was construction detritus in all the hallways inside the building. When we arrived we had to crawl under a tarp and some scaffolding to get to the lockbox to get the key. Not very safe. In the late afternoon the construction noise from the apartment next to ours was so loud that I had to go into the tiny hall to hear a call on my iPad. The apartment itself was very ordinary with dirty grouting and dead bugs in the shower, a shower door that does not stay closed, a shabby sofa and and no bedside lamps in the bedroom. The word ‘Luxury’ should never be used to describe such a place and if it is going to be rented with all of the windows under tarps this should be clearly communicated to potential customers. We try not to write harsh reviews, but in this case I would hate to see anybody else have to experience what we had to. It really should be off the site until the tarps are removed and the construction noise is over.
