  Disgusting, dirty place full of insects. Do not stay here!

  Close to the town centre. The only good thing

  When we arrived, the place didn’t look exactly like the photos. The triple bedroom that we were needing to use only had two beds set up. We had to speak to the owner nearing midnight when we’d arrived to find out whether extra bedding was as we couldn’t find it. The spare set had stains on it!! Then as we were getting our kids unpacked, one of them found loads of little bugs all over her bed. We then found them everywhere. Over every bed, all the ceilings, loads sitting in the light fittings as well. Absolutely disgusting. The carpet in the double bedroom was damp and tacky, and the room smelt damp. Very cramped to have a double in such a tiny room! The place is noted as a luxury apartment and it was anything but. The towels were so thin and threadbare, the car park was damp and full of puddles. You had to go up from the dank car park through a lift, through lots of fire doors, then up extra stairs with all our luggage. Very difficult and not convenient at all. We had to do this numerous times to get all our stuff for a family of 5 staying for 4 days. We ended up phoning and driving round loads of hotels to beg if they had anywhere else to stay the place was so bad. In the end we could not find anywhere that night as it was so late. Our kids were exhausted and refused to sleep in the beds full of bugs naturally, so we all attempted to sleep in the living room, unsuccessfully, on the floor and sofa bed. The sofa bed was also stained, uncomfortable. We left the next morning for a cheer competition, exhausted from no sleep and we all got bitten all over. I have photos and videos of the insects and our bites and the state of the place. Honestly if I could give this place a zero I would. Do not stay here. It’s disgusting and I’m covered in bites still!
