    The location is nice

Unfortunately, our stay at this villa was not as comfortable or secure as we expected. The first and most concerning issue was the owner entering the villa without knocking or ringing the doorbell. We had already checked in and were relaxing on the sofa when the owner simply unlocked and opened the door with a key and walked in. We were not properly dressed at the time, which made the situation especially uncomfortable and intrusive. He said he came in to check why the TV was not working. Regardless of the reason, entering an occupied villa without knocking or asking for permission is completely inappropriate and made us feel that our privacy was not respected. The second issue was the refrigerator, which was not working when we arrived. We contacted the property several times by phone and message, but initially we were told that the problem was because we had put too many things in the refrigerator. We strongly disagreed with this explanation. After we continued to insist, the property eventually acknowledged that the refrigerator was faulty and replaced it the following day. We appreciate that they eventually resolved the problem, and this was a positive point. The most serious issue, however, was a camera that we found hidden inside a light fixture. The camera appeared to be positioned specifically to overlook the swimming pool and jacuzzi. I have photos documenting this. We contacted both the property owner and Booking.com and asked for an explanation. The owner completely ignored our messages, while Booking.com informed us that an investigation had been opened, which is still ongoing at the time of writing this review. There are also quite a few things around the villa that need maintenance and improvement. Considering the condition of the property and the issues we experienced, we do not feel that this villa offers good value for the money.
