    Absolute gem

    The whole hanok was beautifully maintained. Everything was clean and manicured to perfection. The bathroom and kitchen were beautifully renovated. The bed was very comfortable and the bathing area and projector room were neat additions. The steamer for clothes was helpful and not mentioned in the room description. We were very sad we only booked for one night.

    Being deep inside the Bukchon village had its negative due to crowds and the touristy vibe at times. The doors to the rooms were a bit sticky and difficult to open and close at times. We were worried about breaking something.

    Excellent location. Beautiful cottage with thoughtful decor and facilities. Very quiet, yet near the most happening part of the city. Optimally located for tourists! Visit the nearby Insadong for great food.

    What a great place!

    We loved having modern amenities in a traditional construction. The place was really beautiful and comfortable, hosts were responsive to our questions, and everything was spotless. When we left the property, we were in a great neighborhood, near landmarks and public transit.

    It took a minute for our jet lagged brains to figure out the nuances of the door code, but we got there eventually.
