    Really enjoyed staying in this lovely, well- appointed apartment and would definitely recommend to others.

    Excellent location for visiting family in St Albans and London. Easy access to St Albans’ town- all the attractions, pubs/ restaurants and the train station. Described as an apartment but really like a little house, with all the facilities you could need. Lovely well- appointed shower room upstairs- really good shower, lots of hot water; and a handy downstairs toilet as well. Comfortable double bedroom, lovely bed linen and quality pillows and mattress. Enjoyed the Juliet balcony with pleasant views to the garden. The apartment has its own little courtyard with a table and chairs - we enjoyed an alfresco breakfast out there. The apartment is well equipped for making simple meals and we appreciated the complimentary milk, croissants and butter. Generous bottles of shower gel and shampoo in the shower too. There is also a very good television. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and, as they live next door, were there to meet us on arrival.

    There isn’t anything we didn’t like, but perhaps for a longer stay a more comfortable sofa would be good for watching television, maybe a corner sofa with arms.

    Property furnished and equipped to a high standard, with private outside sitting area and parking space. Bedroom quiet with no traffic noise.

    Very happy with all aspects of the property.
