    Firenze vista Pitti

    La casa è molto bella, suddivisione degli spazi eccezionale. Nonostante fosse in pieno centro su strada di forte passaggio non si sentiva nulla dall’interno. Ben insonorizzata. Cucina molto funzionale e spazi ben organizzati. In 3 minuti a piedi da Ponte Vecchio. Consiglio per almeno 2 notti, e gruppi/famiglie numerose.

    Il check-in è ibrido, a metà tra online e di persona e questo non è un buon compromesso. Settimane prima dell’arrivo viene chiesto di effettuare online la registrazione di documenti per poi scoprire che c’è una persona all’arrivo per la consegna chiavi, per di più in ritardo e non raggiungibile. A questo punto meglio fare tutto di persona, ma meglio ancora se ci fosse una key safety per check-in automatico. Non c’è linea col 5G all’interno della casa e nei dintorni, questo non facilita le comunicazioni anche con l’host all’arrivo. Basterebbe comunicare il nome da citofonare per velocizzare.

    Do not rent this apartment because the host is not responsive.

    The location was excellent. Bed was very good. adequate closet space. Host was terrible.

    The owners NEVEr answer the phone number given. They rented the apartment to two people but resisted giving us more than one key and that only after I threatened legal action. The check out instructions asked us to call two people and gave telephone numbers but each of the women said she no longer worked on the property. Once again no answer when I wrote for instructions. The apartment was delivered with dirty bathroom, a frost covered freezer, a baulky TV without instructions.

    Disappointing and not worth the 1600.00 I paid for it. Not a luxury apartment!

    The apartment was clean, beds were comfy and there was nothing plenty of room for 4 people. Nicely stocked kitchen and big bathrooms.

    The WiFi did not work. Couldn’t communicate with family back home or with tours for vacation. Asked to have it fixed and they couldn’t fix it. AC only works when you are there. Every time you open the door it shuts off and then you have to manually turn on all five units again. So if you go outside to try to get a WiFi signal, you have to turn all the AC units back on. Also if you stay in the apt while others go out to grab a coffee, you have to turn the units all back on again! So inconvenient and not something you want to deal with when on vacation. Also the power blew four times while there in the middle of the night. Had to find my way down the dark stairs to flip the fuse switch. Very dangerous, especially not being familiar with the place.
