  Construction and bring your own toilet paper and towels

  We stayed at a Portugal Portfolio apartment in Cascais for five days and unfortunately the experience did not match the “luxury” description or the price point (€650/night).Noise: There was daily construction directly above the unit, starting early and continuing throughout the day. This was not disclosed before booking, and it made the apartment uncomfortable to stay in.Supplies: The apartment was stocked with only one towel per person, two dishwasher pods, two laundry pods, one garbage bag, and a very small amount of toilet paper. When we requested more, we were told they only provide a “starter amount,” even for short stays. At this price level, basic replenishment should be standard.Service: When we raised these issues, the response was dismissive — “that’s just the way it is.”Overall: The location is good, but the lack of transparency, inadequate supplies, and constant construction noise made this stay far below expectations for a high‑end rental. Future guests should be aware of these issues before booking

  Apartment was comfortable and location good. Nice balcony to relax on and well equipped. Check in staff lovely and prompt and informative. However it would have been nice to have been told about the 9am neighbouring building work....also building work in Apartment above with matching 9am banging and drilling!! Only one lift working the whole time which was lined in cardboard and stank! When we alerted the provider to this they said they would pass on to the management team....yet to hear back... which reflects the low staff score. We still enjoyed Cascais , beautiful place. Well worth visiting.

  Presented as shown on the website We had a major issue with the commencement of Strata building works above us and the owner and Mariline from Portugal Portfolio were amazing and quickly move us to another, even better property

  The tub under shower makes using the shower difficult.

  Lovely Stay

  What a beautiful apartment! It was so spacious and included all amenities that you would need for a week-long stay. The views from our balconies were lovely. All furniture was clean and comfortable. Cassie, our attendant, was very accommodating and helpful. She was easy to reach via What's App. The area around the apartment was great! 5-10 min from a hugh park with one of the best playgrounds my 3 year old has ever seen. 5 min walk to Boca do Inferno and a walkable 15-20min to downtown Cascais. A nice grocery store is also close by. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would reccomend!

  The toilet in the en-suite wasn't very comfortable and the tub in the second bathroom was difficult to enter for our elderly parents, but that's just a personal preference.
