    Gorgeous place to stay!

    A lovely house on a stunning coastline. Such a thrill to stay right beside the sea, watching the changing tides, waves, and colours. We saw a passing pod of dolphins while eating breakfast one day! The kitchen and bathrooms are good, with most of what you’d need, though the shower is strangely small for such a big general space, but this is a minor inconvenience. The bed is comfortable, and the house always warm and cosy. It was good to be able to use the washing machine and everything dried quickly on the indoor racks. The hosts live next door and responded quickly to any queries.

    This is not a great place to stay if relying on public transport. I’d miscalculated how we would get there and it took hours from the airport and was exhausting. We were due to hire a car at the end of our stay and had intended day trips into the city and countryside using public transport, but I had to quickly change the car dates so we could use it sooner. We would have had to use taxis as well as the train otherwise. The one time we ordered an Uber it didn’t turn up. But certainly if you have a car it’s all good.

    Beautiful home. Fantastic location with amazing views of the sea. Excellent hosts who genuinely were interested in making sure we were comfortable.Close to supermarkets. Easy parking. Great location for exploring the coast and St Andrews. Easy to go by train to Edinburgh without worrying about parking. Thanks Allan and Fiona for a lovely ending to our holiday in Scotland 😄
