  Best place in Okrug Gornji

  Can’t speak highly enough of our stay here. Fantastic value for money, the location was perfect. The apartment was very well kept. The kitchen dining area that leads onto a balcony with the most incredible views and to top it all off it comes with a rooftop terrace with sun beds, tables and chairs. A very luxurious place to stay. Only about 10 minute walk away from the beach which had loads of bars and restaurants. A 10 minute taxi to Trogir which is a beautiful old town and a 45 minute taxi to split. (Make sure you use Uber for all your travel) The hosts who live under the apartment are hands down the best hosts I’ve ever met. They kindly shared their lunch with us one afternoon which they delivered us while we were relaxing by the pool. Me and my friends had a night out in split which was great fun, the following morning the hosts had baked us some homemade focaccia bread to help nurse our hangovers, this sort of service is extremely hard to come by. Those two alone gives this stay a 10/10 in our book. We didn’t get a proper chance to say thankyou to the hosts so I hope they see this. They really made Croatia a fantastic holiday.

  What I didn’t like about the property is that it made coming back to normal life back in England that little bit more painful. It’s the best property we have stayed in.

  Bislang das besten Appartements, das wir in Okrug Gorni gebucht haben.

  Wir waren als eine 6-Köpfige Familie unterwegs und etwas früher vor Ort, nach Rücksprache mit dem Gastgeber war es möglich das Appartement früher zu beziehen. Der Gastgeber hat mit uns eine Zeit vereinbart und uns die Schlüssel übergeben, sowie eine komplette Kennenlern-Tour durch das Appartement angeboten. Der Gastgeber sprach deutsch und war sehr freundlich. Das Appartement bietet sehr viel Platz, ist sehr gut ausgestattet, erstreckt sich über 2 Etagen, hat einen großen Balkon und eine eigene Dachterrasse. Das Interieur ist sehr schön und harmoniert mit dem Rest des Appartements, trotz des dunklen Bodens und der türkisfarbenen Möbel ist das Appartement sehr hell. Die Schlafzimmer sind gut ausgestattet und die Betten sind bequem, Schänke sind geräumig und sauber. Die Bäder sind recht groß und die Duschkabinen haben viel Platz. Pflegeprodukte und Tücher sind vorhanden. Die sonstige Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, Wama, Bügelbrett, Bügeleisen, Wäschespinne, selbst Waschmitten und co. findet man, Haartrockner, Kaffeevollautomat, Wasserkocher, Toaster, Blender, Stabmixer, also eigentlich alles. Das einzige Manko waren die scharfen Messer, da fehlte nach Jahren der Benutzung die Schärfe. Sprich, wer auf sehr scharfe Messer nicht verzichten möchte, nimmt eigene mit oder kauft sich welche. Der Außenpool ist sehr groß (ca. 7m X 3m X 1,5m) und etwas kälter als das Meer-Wasser, eine sehr gute Abkühlung bei hohen Außentemperaturen. Um den Pool herum ist viel Platz und es befinden sich 8 Liegen, ein Bistrotisch und 2 Stühle am Pool, so dass alle Platz finden (das Haus bietet noch ein weiteres Appartement an). Nun noch ein paar Worte zum Gastgeber Opa Drago. So ein warmer Empfang und Fürsorge ist uns das erste mal begegnet. Wir hatten gesundheitliche Probleme und Probleme mit dem Auto, jedes mal hat der Opa Drago uns mit Infos geholfen. Und Opa Drago hatte immer einen lustigen Spruch auf Lager.

  Die Treppe zu der Dachterrasse ist etwas steiler und besitzt nicht wirklich ein Geländer, ist aber kein Minus-Punkt. Das warme Wasser, falls es benötigt wird, reicht nicht für das nacheinander Duschen von 6 Personen, da muss man eine Pause einlegen. Hat bei uns und bei 35 °C Außentemperatur sehr gut geklappt.

  The space and the views were amazing. We really enjoyed the pool which we had to ourselves most of the holiday. The coffee machine which was bean to coffee was very nice. Peaceful location which is very close to a supermarket and a restaurant so you don’t have to walk down to the sea front.

  Personally I thought there should have been more hooks for towels in the bathroom, maybe on the doors. Also thought the air condition didn’t work that well in one of the bedrooms. A few more instructions in the property would have been helpful.

  Top Apartment !!

  Wunderschönes gemütliches Apartment, mit absolut allem was man braucht & einem tollen Vermieter (der super deutsch spricht) und immer zur Stelle ist wenn man etwas braucht! Nochdazu wurden wir noch nie so freundlich begrüßt oder haben irgendwo frisches Gemüse vom Vermieter bekommen! Dankeschön!!
