Would highly recommend this cozy and central stay to anyone traveling in the West side of Iceland!
The communication with our host was excellent- Helene was warm, informative and responsive. We felt very welcome staying in her home. The house was roomy enough for our family of 7, (ages 20-80)with upstairs and downstairs spaces to lounge separate or as a group. The decor was authentic and charming, and the garden was just beautiful. The hot tub was relaxing and clean, and we loved that the water was automatically hot upon filling. The neighborhood was close enough to walk to the grocery store, downtown Hafnarfjordur, and parks nearby. Driving to Reykjavic, Keflavic airport, and hot spring spas and other tourist areas was very easy. It always felt very safe and secure and had great parking. I could not have chosen a better place to stay in Iceland!
It was perfect, there was no down side to our stay. Exceeded our expectations
