Our stay was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped, making it the perfect home base for our group
The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything our group of nine could need, from multiple coffee machines with pods and an ice maker to a laundry room, fresh fruit on the table, and even adapters ready to use. The kitchen and appliances were top-notch, the beds were very comfortable, and we loved the copious hot water and great towels after long days exploring. Extra touches like the Bluetooth speaker in the living room made it feel especially welcoming and well-prepared for guests.
Our only recommendation would be instructions on how to empty the water chamber in the clothes drier, which we spent some time figuring out.

It was an absolutely fantastic stay!
It is a historic old building that has been beautifully restored with updates that have made it extremely comfortable for our family group. We were surprised and grateful for the fresh fruit bowl upon our arrival. Also, the kitchen was well appointed to include an espresso machine & snacks which were very much appreciated. Located in the city center, everything we needed was within in short, pleasant walk (including the pick up point for tour buses). We had high expectations when we booked & these expectations were exceeded!

A perfect house to use as a home base to explore Reykjavik and beyond!
Our family spent 6 nights at this great house. We loved the location - right in the edge of downtown (a 3 minute walk at most) - which allows you to easily access the restaurants, bars and shops and still be in a quiet spot at night. The house had plenty of room for our family of 7 to spread out. We were appreciative of the special touches the owners took to make sure we were comfortable, such as leaving a bowl of fresh fruit on the table for us and having some provisions on hand for our arrival like coffee pods for the coffee machine on site, olive oil, spices and sugar. It was a perfect home base for our stay in Iceland!
