  A real home from home. Some apartments provide only the bare essentials, but for me, staying in Seville for three weeks, the real winner was having somewhere that felt as close to home as possible and Macarena Home exceeded my expectations on every front. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with plenty of utensils, pots and everything needed to cook properly. The huge fridge-freezer was especially welcome in the blistering August heat, with cold water and ice constantly on hand. The air conditioning worked beautifully, and the Wi-Fi was perfect for my entire stay, genuinely better than my Wi-Fi at home. The washing machine and iron were also invaluable during a three-week summer stay, when clothes need washing constantly, and there is a clothes line available on the roof. The private balcony was lovely for an early morning coffee or an evening drink, and the apartment has its own secure entrance. The bed was very comfortable, the apartment had plenty of natural light, hot water was always available, and it was wonderfully quiet. Other people lived in the building, but I barely saw anyone, although I occasionally heard normal comings and goings. The location was excellent. There is a huge Mercadona only around five minutes’ walk away, as well as an abundance of cafés and bars nearby. The beautiful Macarena Basilica is directly across the road, and hearing its bells chime on the hour really added to the atmosphere. It is also very easy to walk into the centre. A straightforward walk along Calle San Luis takes you to the cathedral in around 20 minutes, and I personally loved making that walk at different times of the day. Most importantly, I felt incredibly safe both in the apartment and in the surrounding area, at all times of the day and night. I honestly miss it already. I would never hesitate to recommend Macarena Home, and I would happily stay here again next August. Thank you for an amazing stay.
