    Good as an event hotel with friends.

    Location. Residents’ bar. Panelling in main building. Event space was ideal size.

    Breakfast served in hotel lobby. Bedroom linen worn.

    Really enjoyed our stay in this characterful hotel.

    Both rooms we booked were excellent - spacious and full of character. Very impressive grounds. We only had breakfast - it was delicious.

    Fabulous staff. Food was fantastic. Wonderful surroundings. What’s not to like

    It is an old building but very clean and comfortable. Loads of history which I like.

    The pillows weren’t the best but a very minor complaint.

    The decor is fantastic, mixture of old and modern. The food was to die for. The staff were extremely cheerful and respectful and professional. The room was clean , fresh and the sheets were as soft as a cloud , so much so that we didn't want to leave.
