    Staying in this very loved traditional Japanese timber home was a highlight of our trip.

    This is a lovely traditional Japanese accommodation. We were met by our lovely host who looked after us beautifully, with lots of information and detail about the property and nearby recommended restaurants, shops and attractions. It felt special to be able to stay in their beautiful accommodation and to hear the history of the home. We would highly recommend this stay. The bathtub in the garden courtyard and little water feature were especially lovely. Very close to lots of attractions and easy to get around from here, both walking and via trains.

    Authentic japanese experience in Kyoto

    This house is just amazing, probably one of - if not THE - best Airbnb I've ever stayed. It's an authentic japanese experience, not to mention that Eri, the host, is an omotenashi master.
