Very relaxing stay.
The property didn't offer breakfast but had left bits and bobs in room if wanted . Room spacious and comfortable.

Lovely place in a great location
Excellent position with beautiful views when the weather allows! Nice comfy chairs to watch the activity on the water, especially the passing ferries. As others have said, a lovely clean and comfortable place to stay. Very relaxing.

Charming and Comfortable
Our room was on the first floor which was great because we didn't have to climb stairs. The view is excellent and when we were inside we'd relax in the comfy chairs looking out at the bay. The room is huge. It actually has a closet and dresser and a small dining table if you get take-away. We loved having a bit of sherry in the evening. Nice touch!! The location is an easy stroll to shops and restaurants.
It needs a few kitchen items. There are place mats but no utensils or napkins. There is no tea selection but coffee selection is provides. The welcome book doesn't give instructions on how to use fireplace (it blows cold air) or the heated towel rack.

A B&B with an amazing view of Oban Bay
The view of Oban Bay from the windows of the room! A great view of the ferry boats as they travel in and out of the bay. The room is very spacious and has a refrigerator, microwave, and an eating area. The bed is very comfortable. There is also a dedicated parking space with easy access. MacKays is on the esplanade drive outside of the city center, and if you are driving into the Highlands, you avoid a lot of traffic by not having to drive through the city center. We did a lot of driving in appreciated that fact.
The B&B does not provide breakfast outside although they do provide some snacks and some instant oatmeal in the room. There is however a large hotel a block away that has a very beautiful dining room and they offer a great breakfast buffet available to purchase for people staying at MacKays. Please note that MacKays is approximately a 6-block walk into town. Not too far, but far enough to be a factor if frequently walking into town. There are parking lots in town, but it can be hard to get spots sometimes, and so I would rather keep the car at MacKays.
