No one got the opportunity to stay, as Maclear Manor decided to cancel our fully prepaid reservation without informing us whatsoever. Apparently they had guests that decided to extend their stay and instead of informing them that they were fully booked, they decided to cancel our booking. If we did not happen to phone to enquire about breakfast, we would not have known. It was paid in full and because of my profile name on booking.com, they told the travelers that they had spoken to me. When phoning to discuss the matter, I was met with lies upon lies as well as the owner blatantly declining to speak to me to resolve the matter and the person I was speaking to, Dee, lying and saying the owner had left the premises (when I could hear the conversation the two had as the headset was not covered or muted). Appalling to say the least. I would not recommend this venue to anyone.
