    The location of the apartment and the ocean view are among the best in the city. Everything you need is within easy reach nearby – restaurants, a grocery store, and bakeries. We walked to the city center, which is 4.9 km away, and it was great. For those who don’t like walking, the bus stops right in front of the apartment. The kitchen is excellently equipped with all the appliances you need.

    Our experience was negatively impacted by the lack of understanding from the host when we raised an issue about the absence of hot water throughout the entire morning. The view and location alone are not enough to justify the cost. During our 10-day stay, my husband and I had to carefully plan when each of us could shower because there was not enough hot water for both of us. We were informed that there is a boiler, but once the hot water runs out, it takes a long time to heat up again. We were not taking baths, only quick showers, yet this was still a constant problem. This situation is not acceptable, especially considering the price and expectations for a comfortable stay. Of course, the information about the limited hot water supply is not mentioned on Booking, otherwise I would not have made the reservation. The bathroom door, which had already been mentioned by other guests, has not been fixed and is difficult to close. The bedding felt synthetic, which was also noted in previous reviews. Overall, it gives the impression that these issues are not being properly addressed. It is a shame, as the apartment has a beautiful location, but it is not worth the price.

    100/10, the best apartments in Funchal

    Best place to stay in Madeira! Super clean, service was excellent, location is 10-15 min by taxi/bus from the city center. Supermarket right in front of the building. Many good restaurants around. And the ocean view is stunning! Definitely will come back again!

    Icy cold water in the pool. There was a misleading review on Google Maps, which mentioned 3 heating pools, but it wasn't true unfortunately
