Nice, if you meet their conditions...
Big, modern apartment, with AC, WiFi, kitchen, wash machine and dryer, iron, all you could need. Close to the center, the beach, the train station, in the very posh Viareggio.
There's no free parking and no free beach close by. If you come by car, the only free parking is over a bridge, 1-2 km away and the free public beach is 3 km away. Paying the parking is difficult, as Mover app doesn't work on a foreign phone no., the parking machines don't display clear prices, only accept coins/fixed money and you have to go on Mover site for prices, which are hard to find. It's 1 eur/H, 12 eur/day. The hosts communicate promptly online, but they don't physically come to the apartment. They impose a dozens of rules, some of them sounding quite threatening, like: if you don't take out the trash yourself, they charge 100$ more, if you don't leave the key inside at check-in and take a proof photo of the keys, they charge 100$, you must leave all windows and AC closed, or else etc. I understand we need to be modern, ecologists, digital and deal with things remote, but when you pay quite a lot/night, being threatened with extra charges for banal things seems a bit much. I would suggest the hosts to rephrase a bit the rules, have a friendlier tone and withdraw the money charges. Honestly, leaving a window or a light open, or leaving a garbage back behind shouldn't terrorize tourists who want to relax. I'm sure the cleaning ladies can take out the trash or close the windows themselves.
