  Do not book here - cancelled my stay when I was in the taxi 5 minutes away

  I booked at Magia di Firenze back in July 2026 for my October 2026 stay. I received multiple confirmation emails plus check-in instructions both the day before and the day of my arrival. After a 20+ hour travel day, I was in my taxi en route to Magia di Firenze and when I was just 5 minutes away, I received an email from Booking.com saying that “Unfortunately, Magia di Firenze has informed us they can no longer accommodate you” No explanation, no reason, no direct contact from Magia di Firenze. Since I was 5 minutes away and didn’t know what else to do, the taxi dropped me in front of the property. I spent the next 2.5 hours in the streets with my luggage - an hour of which I spent on the phone with Booking.com who wasn’t very helpful in finding me new accommodations - being bitten by mosquitoes (my bug spray was inside my luggage) and searching for new accommodations. Of course 99% of places were already booked since I was looking for accommodations for THAT night. I ended up finding a hotel that had availability for 2 nights and I dragged my luggage over there to shower and sleep and spend another 1.5 hours the next morning searching for accommodations of my remaining 4 nights in Florence. It was a horrible experience, especially as a woman traveling solo. Thankfully I had arrived at the hotel around 5:30pm and not at 10pm or midnight. It is absolutely absurd that Magia Di Firenze could just cancel my reservation like that and didn’t even have the decency to reach out to me directly. I don’t know if maybe they found someone else willing to pay a higher rate than what I had already paid via Booking.com. I don’t know the reason. But it was a horrible start to my vacation and Magia Di Firenze should be ashamed.

  Myös ikäihmiset matkustavat! Kerrottava varattaessa selkeästi, ETTÄ EI OLE PERINTEINEN HOTELLI!

  Sijainti erinomainen. Huone suuri, uusi, erittäin siisti. Sänky hyvä.

  Huone oli kylmä. Lämmitystä ei saatu/ osattu toimimaan. Yllätykseksi " hotelli" ei ollut hotelli, vaan asunto, johon koodeilla kirjauduttiin sisään. Ulko-ovi, rappukäytävän ja huoneen ovi toimivat koodeilla, joka tuli meille ikä-ihmisille täytenä yllätyksenä. Tämä ei käynyt ilmi huonetta varattaessa!
