Mahaanui Quarters Farmstay exceeded our expectations. The owner was incredibly thoughtful and genuinely cared about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. Although he couldn't welcome us personally because his father was unwell, he went above and beyond by leaving us a heartfelt, detailed welcome letter, a gesture we truly appreciated and had never experienced before. We stayed for two nights and found the farmstay to be excellent value for money. The warm hospitality, personal touches, and peaceful atmosphere made our stay memorable. We would happily recommend Mahaanui Quarters Farmstay to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming getaway.
Place would have been much better if it has been bit upper on the ground

Overall, awesome, thank you Sally and Simon!
Awesome scenic location. Solid, comfortable, warm, peaceful, private house surrounded by farmland, hill country, trees, and livestock. An awesome experience, would absolutely recommend. Our hosts even made us a delicious banana bread pudding!
Travel is difficult onto the station, due to the local bridge being destroyed a few years ago. Well worth the longer drive however!
