  Nous n'avons pas pu le savoir car la veille de notre arrivée nous avons eu la très mauvaise surprise d'apprendre que notre location pour 10 jours était annulée pour des raisons de dégâts des eaux. Nous venions de parcourir plus de 1500KM. Sans commentaire, nos vacances gâchées car évidemment il a fallu retrouver par nous même un logement dans l'extrême urgence et bien sûr loin de retrouver les mêmes prestations. Déception totale.

  Die Terrasse mit Blick auf dem See ist einfach nur gigantisch.

  Der Zugang zum Privaten Strand, sollte man die Äste wieder mal bisschen zurück schneiden.

  The apartment has a nice terrace, which is perfect for relaxing in the evening or having breakfast in the morning when the weather is good. Since we spent most of the day outside, we really appreciated this space. The host was responsive and quickly helped us when we had an issue with the hot water. There is also a large parking area, which is convenient for guests arriving by car.

  We had read previous reviews before booking, so we already knew that the apartment was not new and showed some signs of use. However, what we did not expect was how difficult it would be to reach without a car. After collecting the keys from the key box, we had to walk around 45 minutes to the apartment. The distance itself was not the main issue, the problem was that part of the route was along a road without proper space for pedestrians while cars were passing very close by. For guests arriving without a car, it is much better to take a train or boat to Baveno after collecting the keys, as the walk is shorter and safer for pedestrians. Other small things to know: there was only hand soap provided in the bathroom, no shampoo or shower gel. There was also no dish sponge or hand towel in the kitchen, which would have been useful. The apartment is a bit outdated and could use some renovation, but we were aware of that before booking and chose it mainly for the beautiful view.
