  Location was ideal for visiting Rome and enjoying restaurants and cafes. Easy walk from Rome Termini station. Air-conditioning worked great. The bed was comfortable.

  The climb up 2 flights of stairs were hard on my old knees. The entry hallway and the bedroom were very snug with a tight space to maneuver.

  Staying in the heart of Rome with hospitable host

  Great location, old building with Rome vibe. Very welcoming host!

  Be prepared for no elevator and very narrow staircases. Some passages are extremely tight.

  Wonderful stay

  Our Host were so helpful with advice and airport transport. They responded so quickly to questions, we felt like we had a friend in town. The apartment was well stocked with towels, to and cookware. It was very clean, which I am picky about so that was nice. There was coffee and tea there for us which was welcoming too. The location was great, out of the main hustle and bustle, very close to the metro, but also walking distance to most of the main neighborhoods, however quite a trip to the Vatican after walking that once we took a taxi. Great neighborhood for restaurants and not far from several grocery stores. It was fun to be so close to the Colosseum we took a picnic there one evening on a whim because it is just down the block.

  My only suggestions would be a towel bar or more hooks in the bathroom. (We were 4 people and had to get creative on where to dry them) Oh and maybe a small sign outside the apartment door on the stairs, it was unmarked which threw us for a little loop.

  Superb

  The apartment is a stone throw from the colosseum and the forum, right in the center, and surrounded by restaurants (and with a nice bar for breakfast just in front). The location is great! Kitchen and bathroom were clean and well equipped, perfect for a short or long stay. The host was very kind and helpful. Having 2 separate sleeping rooms was ideal for travelling with kids. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was quiet.

  The stairs are steep and narrow, and it is especially difficult to pass the landing on the first floor. The corridor in the apartment is also quite narrow (maybe 50 cm?). This was not an issue for us, but could have been more challenging travelling with a baby, or for older people or for someone with somewhat limited mobility. The sofa bed was not very comfortable.
