Fabrizio gave us a very warm welcome and was kind, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean and always smelled fresh. We also really appreciated the fresh towels and regular cleaning. The apartment is located on a small, quiet street. From there, it takes a bit of a walk to reach the busier main road, and then a longer walk straight down to the seafront. (15-20 min) For us, the route was simple and easy to follow. The only small downside was the breakfast, as there were no fresh breakfast items, mainly packaged croissants and yogurts. Eggs were also provided, so we could prepare our own breakfast. Overall, Fabrizio’s hospitality and care made our stay very enjoyable. We felt very welcome and would definitely return!

Welcoming accommodation and spotlessly clean
Fabrizio was very kind. He took our last minute same day booking as the accommodation we had originally booked was filthy and the host wouldn’t respond. What struck us first was how the property was spotless and very spacious. He gave us recommendations on the best way to get to the waterline from the accommodation and what shops to go to. The cooking facilities were quite good with a stove and the option of using a frying pan or pots and pans. The shower was very spacious. While the city itself and our original accommodation made us feel unsafe, the quality and friendliness of the accommodation made us feel very safe staying there. It is an excellent location to get ferries to the amalfi coast or take the train to pompeii.
This has nothing to do with the amazing accommodation or host but the city itself felt quite unfriendly to tourists. We only stayed a few days and spent most of our time on trips outside of the city but for the time we had there, the city felt quite unfriendly, the streets can be dirty and buildings run down and we often had locals staring or giving us looks. We also often got given out to for not speaking Italian for our short stay. I want to emphasize that this has nothing to do with the amazing accommodation or host who was so good to us, but tainted our experience of the city nevertheless. I feel quite bad writing so much negative as we received the warmest welcome we have from any host we’ve both ever stayed with. While the city sometimes felt unfriendly, the accommodation felt like a very safe place to rest and put your head down.
