Hidden gem !!!
Room was clean and very comfortable. AC worked well. Mini fridge. Excellent bathroom. Staff was very nice and helpful. Recommendations for restaurants were great! Breakfast in am was fantastic! Location was great in a square

Perfect location for a stay in Split
We were met at the car park by Toni, our personal concierge! Toni was a wealth of historical knowledge and spent a great deal of time helping us plan out our stay over complimentary charcuterie and a glass of wine. The rooms are unusually large for Europe and very clean. Breakfast was very good and the staff all very friendly. Everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance from the hotel.
The hump from the public parking could be difficult for some, but Toni was there to help. This is a small price to pay for the experience of staying in the old city of Split.

My wife and I had a superb 5 night stay at Makarun Heritage Rooms.
The accommodation was central, in the heart of the old town on the edge of the Diocletian Palace compound. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfasts were superb and there is a fine dining restaurant on site which is first class.

Family owned- Excellent service from the moment of the booking to the end of our stay.
Everyone there went out of their way to treat us like family! Extremely helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable, great location. Breakfast was excellent. We also had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious!

Great rooms and helpful staff.
Modern room and bath. Staff was nice and very helpful. Welcome meal and drinks was nice.
Musty smell in room from AC maybe.
