  Please read this honest review before booking property

  Aside from the secure garage, the spacious layout, and the proximity to the city center, I do not recommend this apartment at all and would never return.

  ​I stayed at this property for 4 nights, arriving around 11:00 PM on the first night due to a late flight. I had informed the host days in advance and updated him upon landing. He arranged for me to pick up the apartment keys at a nearby café, which went smoothly. However, getting into the garage was a different story because the garage key was left inside the flat. Finding a temporary spot to leave the car on the narrow street at night just to run upstairs for the key was very stressful, though the garage itself was great once we got in—at least for our Fiat 500. ​While the street itself is quiet and close enough to walk down to the city center, the immediate surroundings were disappointing. The street is extremely dirty, to the point where we saw mice around the garbage bins near the entrance. I did not feel safe going out at night after the first evening due to many homeless people asking for money, and there is nowhere to buy normal food after 9:00 PM. Additionally, walking back up the steep hill to the apartment is quite exhausting after all day walking on 30°+. ​The flat is on the second floor and is very spacious, but cleanliness was a major issue. Upon arrival, I noticed hair on the bathroom floor, shower with moldy spots and red small marks on the pillowcases, which smelled strange like unwashed. The whole place had a dusty odor masked by heavy air fresheners. Fortunately, the apartment sleeps four, so we used the pillows and duvets from the secondary room, which were clean and smelled like fresh detergent. To my surprise, the welcome gift on the kitchen table included one broken wine glass and another that was filthy (I immediately sent photos to the host so I wouldn't be blamed). All the glassware smelled like vinegar, and since there was no dish detergent provided—only hand soap—we had to drink directly from bottles. Charging a €90 cleaning fee for an experience where you have to re-clean things yourself is ridiculous.

  Disfrutar de Málaga, sin preocuparte del apartamento

  Ubicación muy buena, está casi en el centro, cerca del Teatro Cervantes y aledaños de la calle Larios. A tiro de piedra hay una comisaría de Policía, la cual está a lado del mercado y un gran supermercado. Garaje y plaza bien. Sobre el apartamento, no escuchas ni un ruido, tres aires acondicionados, cocina completa, nevera grande, filtro de agua...... Baño completo. Los electrodomésticos todos en general son muy buenos. Y la preocupación del encargado es absoluta. Además, el apartamento tiene alarma, y una puerta super blindada. Dos ascensores. Vecinos educados ni se les oye.

  Wonderful apartment in a great location. The host was there to please all our requirements. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need including bib and plate for the baby, feeding chair, potty, even toys for the beach. We had coffee, tea, sugar, spices, detergents, shampoo etc., literally everything. I have never been in a better place for that price and in such a location. Nicolas and Yolanda are truly great hosts, I couldn't say enough great words for them.
