I wouldnt stay there again, it wasnt terrible, but not great either.

    Good location

The window in the apartment we were in is not safe. The very heavy window is propped up by a door stop, and when trying to open it further (to get ventilation because the room is stuffy) it fell on my finger and hurt it quite badly. The kitchen is tiny. Don't attempt to cook a full meal like we did. It is really only for making breakfast or heating up food. The apartment is up a quite steep flight of stairs (Which can be expected, but this one was quite steep).

Decent, basic accommodation in a good location

Clean, friendly. Good location. Good bed.

Smell of damp and sewer. Fire escape (loft apartment) - well, I’m glad we didn’t have to use it as it was a stool leading to the roof through a tiny window! Also quite noisy outside but it was Friday and Saturday nights.

    Lovely relaxing stay.

There was an issue in the apartment, we understand things break. We contacted Andy and he came out and sorted everything really quickly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Would really recommend these apartments and there is so much to do in the surrounding area.

    Nothing.

not worth the money I had paid which is a shame as it could be a lovely especially due to location

I liked the location and how easy it was to access different places for me and my daughter to visit as this was a short break away before she started back at school.

When we entered the property my skin started to feel very hot due to a reaction. On inspection we found the room to be extremely dusty. the window were very dusty and had a lot of dead flies, thick dust on the skirting boards and when we opened the wardrobe and got the fan out a load of white stuff came out with it, the fan was thick with dust so was unable to use it. The mini freezer had mould in it. As a whole the room really needs a deep clean and considering what I paid for the room for the time was was there I would expect the room to not be thick with dust. I did advise the host that I had chronic allergies and asked for no products with scents to be used but I did not think I had to advise them of my dust allergies as it should be standard that the room is clean which it was not and I did take photos of some of the issues. The bed covers had holes in them and were not fitted well which made sleeping uncomfortable as it was difficult to move in the bed due to this. Also the bed was not even a standard single bed so I was constantly nearly falling out of the bed. In the rules it said that we had to be mindful of noise yet me and my daughter struggled to sleep due to the noise in the room above they may have been heavy footed but it was very loud and we struggled to sleep. The door to the apartment there is a gap under the door to the point I could actually fit my big toe under it and the chain was not very secure. This was quite worrying for me as I was alone with my daughter so this meant I did not sleep well and was on constant alert to every sound do to the poor security on the door. I choose this apartment rather than a hotel as I thought it would provide a nicer experience for me and my daughter and I am sorry to say I was very disappointed. Unfortunately it will not let me upload the photos.

A little basic but excellent value for money. Comfy and warm. Central, convenient location.

Lounge was a little noisy as it overlooked the street/ road. Not such a problem in the bedroom as it had secondary glazing fitted.
