Wonderful Hawaiian retreat
Great location, surrounded by nature. Very comfortable accommodation with everything we needed, and helpful hosts.

Lovely place to enjoy Big Island.
The host was super nice and friendly, he introduced us a lot of places for food and visits. It is a great location with access to some restaurants, supermarkets and coffee farms. It is a hidden gem with facilities built into the natural environments. This place is about 30 mins drive from the airport, 10 mins drive to the night snorkeling spot for Manta and 2 hours drive to the volcano park.
We went at the end of August, so we got some mosquitos bites which was manageable. At night there was beautiful symphony from frogs, I personally enjoyed it and slept quite well. Though it was a bit difficult for my friend. But the host provided earplugs.

Thoughtful space, great hosts, a few annoyances
Very thoughtful space. The owners clearly care about their space and guests and they went above and beyond. Great, off the beaten path location to explore the local area. Cool little shop with fresh sugar cane juice from the property.
Minor annoyances included a bright street light (lamp post) that was shining right into the bedroom window. One of the bedrooms smelled a bit mildewy.

A restful escape
This is the place with a great kitchen stocked with lots of stuff. Go to the grocery store on your way there. There are snorkels and flippers to use and the the snorkeling at the Captain Cook monument is excellent. Just plan for the walk it’s not difficult but a climb. The nearby Manini Park is great. Was too windy for kayaking so we missed that.
The sound of Coqui frogs was loud our first night but part of the experience.
