Cerca, cómodo y bonito
Estaba muy bien ubicado. Una casa antigua bonita, una buena cocina y baños. Distribución cómoda.
Al ser antigua el ruido del suelo era incómodo de noche, las habitaciones ventilan e iluminan en galería, es decir, a través del pasillo, faltó que tuvieran protección solar (estor o persiana) esas ventanas y las puertas puerta para que no molestara la luz por la mañana. Las ventanas que dan a la fachada son de guillotina, difíciles de dejar abiertas para ventilar en verano y refrescar la casa, les falta algo que poner para poder dejar abiertas y al ser antiguas también el ruido de la calle era molesto en esas estancias por la noche.

Excellent!
Property is right in the center of town, literally a block away from the cathedral which is the "main drag" of La Laguna. The apartment is cozy with a nice living room, two separate bedrooms, a kitchen and one full bathroom plus another room with a toilet (a huge plus when you have multiple guests!) There is also a small indoor patio with a couple of chairs - a very Spanish thing - which I believe is meant for where you would have a cup of coffee instead of the living room or the kitchen. The place was clean, nicely decorated and all the amenities worked as expected. Communication with the manager via Whatsapp was prompt and very courteous. Getting the glasstop stove to work can be bewildering for non-Americans because you end up pushing the LED buttons like a maniac and nothing seems to happen. All you have to do is pay attention to the lock button. Long press and it turns off then the rest becomes more obvious ;-)
This is all nitpicky because there really aren't any major concerns. Most importantly, I would add a small note of caution for elderly couples, or those coming back after you've had one too many: the hallway has a couple of steps which would be easy to miss and could easily stub your toes in the middle of the night or, worse, land you on the floor with a tooth knocked out. So be careful. The kitchen has a full set of cutlery and pans but no coffee, sugar, salt, etc. which I feel is standard by now and at very little cost to management. Likewise, having Netflix or Youtube on the TV would be a nice touch as the local over the air channel lineup is just dreadful.
