Decent for the price but nothing exceptional
The location was good, there's plenty of shops in the area. Overall it was quite low-fuss I would say, and the host was quite responsive. Considering the price, it was good.
Getting into the property was a battle. I think it says a lot when the hosts have to provide multiple instructional videos to teach you how to get through the door, and this is quite a bit of stress when you're first arriving and your internet is unreliable. You enter through what looks like an abandoned shopping centre with no signs and follow a winding path through the building up multiple flights of stairs. Google Maps says free parking. I don't know if that's their fault or just an error with Google Maps but there's no parking at the place, nor anywhere particularly near the place. I had to go to a totally different hotel to park. Cleanliness also wasn't the best I've seen. There was what looked like an old phone contract in one of the drawers, and plainly the cleaners only did the easy stuff. The host waited until three hours after I left to tell me where to put the bins. There was only one item in there but still, not much I could do at that point. There was shampoo under the sink; not an easy find, and they look like sweets, but that plus two towels is all you get. As far as I can determine the shower has three settings: off, icy, and scalding, and turning the shower to any of the four options is a random guess as to which one you get and never the same twice. As a cheap place to spend one night it's serviceable, but don't expect more

ok for what we needed
it was fine for a few nights, we needed a base in town and it fitted the bill. Tea and coffee available to us
all the stairs, no handrails on some. slippery tiled floors in public areas. no aircon or fan and couldn't open windows because of external noise. Pillows were awful

Nice host. Overpriced, unequipped, not very clean.
The host was nice and helpful on the phone and helped us find the location easily. The TV was good and the bed was comfortable.
The shower was unacceptable, the door to the shower didn't shut properly and the shower was either boiling hot or cold. The water pressure was terrible as well, it was like being rained on. A couple of the towels had bleach stains on. The kitchen area was a nice to have but was poorly equipped and not very clean. There was no washing up liquid, a used sponge, old food in the fridge, long life milk capsules in the cutlery draw that had leaked, no tea or coffee provided which I feel is just standard wherever you go. The host expects you to empty the bin when you leave, not sure how as there was no bin bag in the bin? The room was unbearably hot when we arrived, considering its October I dread to think staying here in the summer months. There is no aircon or fan meaning you have to open the windows which means you hear everything outside, I appreciate you expect some noise when staying in a city centre. The lights in the room were very dim. A couple of them kept flickering on and off which was really annoying. I would of rated this higher but the price you pay takes the mick a little bit as you could stay in a hotel for less.

All in all a good clean place to stay for a night or 2 just use public transport to get into town easier than driving in
Central location
A lot of steep steps not well signed from the outside little trick to locate at 1st especially if driving in nowhere to drop off bags
