Nice Renovations
We’ve stayed at the Marlane for years, but we’re a bit cautious when we found out that Chris and Lisa had sold the hotel. But, we loved the location and saw all the renovations the new owners had performed and decided to book the last week of July. There’s no management on site and you get a keyless access code the day of check-in. If you have any questions you can text and they respond fairly quickly. What used to be the lobby is now a welcome center where you can get extra towels, ice machine, and coffee. The renovations were well done. The bathroom was made a bit larger and was beautifully appointed, the wall unit air-conditioning previously located in the back of the room was moved to a larger unit below the front window, which was much more efficient. We did find it a bit odd that we did not receive a “Thank you for staying” or survey at the end of our stay and it was much less personable than in past years, but I guess that is just the way things are now. All in all, enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

A great place to stay
We were there two years ago and went back this past week for 4 days. Our family loved all the new improvements. The new bathrooms and the kitchen area was wonderful. We absolutely love the family atmosphere..easy access to our rooms, welcome center was very well stocked. Hope to be back again. Thank you to the new owners.

Rodeo Weekend
We came down for the rodeo weekend! Never stayed here, it was our first time and loved it! Everything was nicely decorated, easy check in/out. The bed and pillows were top notch (so comfortable) Everything was in walking distance, perfect location. We will be booking for our October anniversary!

New owners equals a better experience
I've been to this property a few times in my previous Wildwood visits but this trip with the new owners has me bragging about the improvements the new owners have made (so far). Rooms are renovated from flooring, bathroom/shower, more comfortable bed, small kitchen, and the ac unit even seemed better. Enterance to your room is a code box (no keys), housekeeping is by request only, most of the time someone is on property but if you need anything they reply to texts quickly. I struggled with the Roku TV system but the TV size and audio was impressive. We will be looking forward to returning in the future. Keep up the great job and your improvements!!!!

Secret Jewel in Wildwood
Rooms were clean and spacious with super comfortable beds! The only thing nicer than the hotel was being created by John the owner! Highly recommend!
