  Το σπίτι είναι ένα παλιό αρχοντικό που σε κάνει να αισθάνεσαι ότι μένεις στο σπίτι των παππούδων σου στο χωριό με τις ανέσεις του σημερα. Επαρκείς και καθαρες πετσέτες και κλινοσκεπασματα. Ο χώρος ήταν άνετος για την 5μελη οικογένεια μας. Επίσης είχε πολύ καλή θέρμανση και ζεστό νερό που δεν μας έλλειψε ποτέ. Το χωριό είναι σε στρατηγική θέση και είναι ανάμεσα σε όλα τα γύρω χωριά που θέλει να δει ένας επισκέπτης.

  Θα μπορούσε να έχει τηλεόραση σε τουλάχιστον ένα από τα υπνοδωμάτια αν όχι και στα δύο. Οι ντουλάπες χρήζουν ανακαίνισης ή αντικατάστασης καθώς και κάποιες φθορές στα κουρτινόξυλα. Τέλος να αναφέρω δύο άτυχες στιγμές που εν μέρη μπορώ να δικαιολογήσω σε ένα τέτοιο σπίτι λόγω υλικών (ξύλο και πέτρα) αλλά δεν μπόρω να αγνοήσω. Ένα βροχερό βράδυ διαπιστώσαμε ότι η οροφή στο ένα υπνοδωμάτιο έσταζε σε ένα σημείο με αποτέλεσμα να βάλουμε κουβάδες από κάτω και στο άλλο δωμάτιο εμφανίστηκε στο κρεβάτι των παιδιών ένας μικρός σκορπιός ο οποίος αναστάτωσε πολύ τα παιδιά. Γενικά φεύγοντας από το σπίτι μου έμεινε η εντύπωση ότι έγιναν οι απαραίτητες επεμβάσεις στο παλιό αρχοντικό ώστε να γίνει κατοικήσιμο και λειτουργικό με καινούργια κουζίνα, μπάνιο και θέρμανση αλλά έμειναν πίσω αρκετές άλλες επεμβάσεις που κάποιοι μπορεί να θεωρούν λεπτομέρειες αλλα κάνουν τη διαφορά στην τελική εικόνα του καταλύματος.

  A pleasant place to stay.

  Very characterful house with good bedrooms and comfortable beds. Very clean. The kitchen is very pleasant and very well equipped. It was nice to be provided with some biscuits and teas. Ano Pedina is a very beautiful village and well located in the Zagora region. We had an issue with insufficient bedding and the owner sorted this out very quickly which was much appreciated.

  The bathroom (which contains the only available lavatory) is extremely poor and this badly lets down an otherwise nice property as a place to stay. It is entered from inside the kitchen and that, in itself, is not at all pleasant or hygienic. Worse than that, it has no ventilation as there is no extraction fan and only a small window which does not open. A minor irritant is a large low hanging glass decorated light in the kitchen which we kept on bumping into. There were three of us and we felt that any more than that would be very difficult on the bathroom front; especially if all adults. The outside mini-courtyard area could be much nicer, Overall, we enjoyed our stay but felt that the price was far too high; especially for the beginning of October.

  A truly authentic and beautifully designed traditional home, where every detail feels in harmony with the house. My little one was convinced she had stepped into a fairytale! The mattresses were new and very comfortable, with plenty of pillows and blankets provided for a cozy stay. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use, making meals simple to prepare. The host was kind, attentive, and very helpful throughout our stay. We would happily return.

  A bit remote from everything, you need to drive apx 15 km to the closest shop/gas station. So better to stock up before you arrive. One of the bedrooms is pass through, it was ok for us, but might be less comfortable if you need 2 separate bedrooms.
